My name is Aisha Nixon. I am married to my wonderful husband for 7 years. I love the fact that we invest the time to laugh, learn, grow, and pour into each other. As a couple, we’ve been co-leaders and pouring into other couples through the small group ministry at our church. My husband and I love to travel and exercise together, whether it’s taking long walks, jogging, or cycling.

I have been a teacher for 22 years, and enjoy positively impacting the lives of others. Outside of my career, I spend time writing, speaking, and creating community. I have written three books entitled, It’s Only for a Season of Time, Simply Amazing and One Common Denominator. Hosting these annual women’s conferences, “Seeds of Intentional Legacy”, “You Are Not Alone: Family Matters”, “Rise Up: Warrior Women”, “Bring It to Light”, and “Uncovered: Walking in God’s Grace” are just the beginning of greater things to come. Recently, I’ve created my YouTube channel, Rise with Hope, where I have had the privilege of speaking with powerful women about important topics. My desire is that through these conversations women are encouraged, inspired, enlightened, and empowered.

Another important aspect of who I am is my identity in Jesus Christ. I am a child of God. God has blessed me with a variety of gifts of which I can use to bless others. So, I’m here to unwrap the gifts of encouragement and writing and share them with you. May you receive and be blessed knowing that what God has in store for you to receive will be accomplished.
