Jesus performed miracles outside the temple. All of Jesus’ ministry and His disciples’ ministry were outside the temple.

Ministry was done:

  • in the jail
  • on the road
  • on the mount
  • on the sea
  • in front of the temple
  • in a house

The majority of the times, the ministry wasn’t known in advance for Jesus or His disciples to prepare a sermon or a word of encouragement, etc. They saw people with needs, and they seized that moment, that opportune time, to minister.

When you leave your home to run errands or something, go with the expectation that an opportune time may present itself to you to minister to the needs of someone or some people.

It’s not a coincidence. It’s not an accident. It’s about purpose. It’s about God’s will.

  • Prayer: Lord, I thank you for my sister. I pray that she will be open to unexpected and unplanned ministry moments as she interacts with people outside her home. May her eyes be open to see that people are in need, and they are looking for an answer. As she speaks to them, may they see Jesus through her actions, and experience the miracle that they’ve been longing for. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God’s Word: 2 Timothy 4:2 – Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

Be encouraged,
