Ladies, how many of you find it challenging at times to take that one step towards a goal or a dream that you have? I know I have been there.
What are some reasons for the delay?
- So much time has elapsed, and you find it hard to (re)start.
- The goal or dream seems so big and hard to achieve.
- Negative thinking takes up quite a bit of space in your mind.
- Doubt that the one step will lead you to greater results.
Ways to overcome:
- Quit making excuses.
- Break your goal/dream down into chunks, and go at it bit by bit.
- Speak, believe, and live out God’s promises. (Find the scripture verses that you can declare for your goal/dream and the process.)
- Believe and have hope that each step will lead to greater results.
Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Prayer: Lord, I pray for my sister who may have difficulty taking that one step. Lord, you know in what area she desires to take that step. May You give her the strength, motivation, determination, and hope as she takes that step and every other step after that. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
My sister, you can DO it!
Be encouraged,
Aisha Nixon
Awesome blog. Love the scripture that supports taking the big step. Thanks my friend for the prayer.
Hi Maria,
It’s great that this blog is beneficial to you.
Thank you, for your words of encouragement I am definitely taking steps towards reaching my goals slowly, but surely I know that I will have them come to pass with the supports of trusting, and believing in God‘s words that I shall have what he says I shall have.
Philippians 4:13 is great scripture to follow when making taking steps towards your reaching your goals along with God supplies for all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians, 4:19
Hi Nadia,
I am glad that you are encouraged. Absolutely! Philippians 4:19 is another great verse that we can hold on to, and believe God to fulfill in our lives as we take the necessary steps towards reaching our goals.
Hello Aisha, I have been meaning to check this out for some time now but, work has me too busy. This really helps to push forward. For me, it is fear of change or the unknown when going forward. I believe that I have what it takes but learning to overcome fear is difficult at times. Thank you for continuing to encourage us with your positive blogs. God bless.
Hi Natalie, I’m happy to hear that this blog has helped you. May you continue to be empowered as you move forward and upward. Keep pressing on, my sister!
