Do you remember the days when you may have made a pinkie swear with one of your friends? Both of you joined your pinkie fingers together, and made a promise that you vowed to not break. Thinking back to our school days, it’s very likely that not everybody fulfilled their promises when they made the pinkie swear. Do you agree? It could have been because of circumstances, friendships changing, etc. I am so excited to share with you that I know someone of old, of now, and of tomorrow, who keeps every promise made. His name is God. He is a promise keeper, who is faithful to keep every promise He has made in the Bible. Trusting in God, and having faith that He will do what He says He will do, is great reassurance. Pinkie swears were broken when one of the friends just couldn’t keep his/her promise for whatever reason. On the other hand, for whatever reason that circumstances are not the way we want them, it’s no trouble for God to keep His Word. He keeps all of His promises.

Prayer: God, thank you for this beautiful soul. Let her experience the realness of your promises. I hope that she can trust You even when the circumstances that surround her are not what was desired, or planned. I pray this scripture over her today –

Isaiah 40:31 NKJV – “But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Be encouraged,
